Who we are

DailyHabit – Habit Tracker ("DailyHabit", "the app") is made by Stylishwebs, Begu Road, Sirsa, Haryana, India ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app collects, why, where it is stored and how you can delete it.

In short: if you use DailyHabit as a guest, your habits never leave your phone. If you sign in with Google, we store your habits, name, email and avatar so they sync to your other phones. We don't show ads, we don't sell your data, and you can delete everything from inside the app.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or advertising ID, and the app contains no advertising or analytics SDKs. When you sign in, Google tells us your name and email; we don't store your Google profile photo or your Google password.

Where your data is stored

Guest mode: everything is stored only on your phone. Uninstalling the app removes it.

Signed in with Google: your data is also stored in Google Cloud Firestore, a service of Google Firebase, in the asia-south1 (Mumbai, India) region. Sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication. Security rules allow only your signed-in account to read or write your data. Google acts as our service provider and processes technical data such as your IP address to provide sign-in and protect the service. See Firebase privacy and security.

Custom alarm sounds you pick are copied into the app's own storage on your phone and are never uploaded.

Permissions the app asks for

  • Notifications — to remind you about your habits.
  • Alarms & reminders — so reminders ring at the exact time you set.
  • Display over other apps (optional) — only if you turn on Pop-up reminder, so the reminder card can appear over other apps and the lock screen.
  • Run at startup — to set your reminders again after your phone restarts.
  • Internet — for Google sign-in and sync.
  • Vibration — for reminder alerts.

How we use your data

Only to provide DailyHabit's features: showing your habits and stats, sending reminders, syncing between your phones and answering your support requests. We never sell, rent or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

How long we keep it

Data on your phone stays until you delete it in the app (Settings › Your data › Reset all data) or uninstall the app. Data in the cloud stays while your account exists and is deleted when you delete your account. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to help you.

Deleting your account and data

In the app open Settings › Personal info › Delete account. This permanently deletes your synced habits, check-ins and profile from our cloud database and removes your sign-in. You can also ask us to delete it; see Delete your account. We complete email requests within 30 days.

Your choices and rights

  • Use the app as a guest with no account.
  • Export a copy of your habits (Settings › Your data › Export).
  • Correct your name, avatar or phone number at any time.
  • Delete your account and data as described above.
  • Turn reminders and pop-ups off at any time.

Security

Data in transit to Firebase is encrypted with TLS, and Firebase encrypts stored data. Access to each account's data is limited to that account by security rules. No method of storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

DailyHabit is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and for important changes we will let you know in the app.
